Classification Exempt Reports to Director of Operations   Summary/Objective Hillcrest Platte County is seeking a Digital Media & Marketing Manager to lead the organization's digital storytelling, content production and marketing, public relations, paid media execution, and website updates and maintenance. This is a hands-on, senior-level role that requires both strong creative execution and strategic oversight. The ideal candidate thrives in producing high-quality content while also leading and supervising a small communications team, ensuring consistency and excellence across multi-channel marketing efforts within a mission-driven environment. In addition, this role supports marketing and communications efforts for public relations initiatives, organizational events, and HPC Thrift Shops, while acting as a key connector between administrative departments, thrift store locations, and community partners.   Essential Functions This position is responsible for building and managing HPC's communications and marketing ecosystem, including: 1. Guidance and supervision of marketing team members across locations 2. Content creation (digital and print), strategy, and execution across social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube 3. Brand consistency across all marketing channels 4. Meta Ads Manager strategy, campaign execution, and budget optimization 5. Analytics tracking, reporting, and performance optimization 6. Public relations and media outreach 7. Event promotion and marketing support 8. Google Business Profile updates and review response management 9. WordPress website updates and maintenance 10. Storytelling, article writing, and short-form video production 11. Management of login credentials and secure access for digital platforms 12. Collaboration with thrift store locations and administrative departments 13. Other duties as assigned   Competencies 1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field; and/or 4+ years of equivalent professional experience in digital marketing, content creation, media production, or public relations 2. Experience leading or supervising creative team members 3. Experience in multi-channel marketing, including digital and print content creation, social media strategy, and platform execution across Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube 4. Strong understanding of brand management and maintaining consistency across digital and print channels 5. Experience with Meta Ads Manager, including campaign strategy, execution, and budget optimization 6. Analytics, reporting, and performance optimization across digital marketing platforms 7. Public relations, event promotion and external communications 8. Google Business Profile update/reviews, and WordPress website updates 9. Strong storytelling, writing, and content development skills 10. Experience creating marketing and campaign assets using accessible tools such as Canva, video editing platforms, and Google Workspace 11. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment 12. Alignment with and support of the Christian mission, values, and beliefs of Hillcrest Platte County   Supervisory Responsibility This position manages two Social Media Coordinators at our Thrift Stores and Admin. Manage, train, and empower social media coordinators across thrift shops; enhancing effectiveness.   Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. Job Description   Job Title: Licensed Qualified Mental Health Professional Job Status: Exempt Department: HPC Counseling Center Job Classification: Full-time Reports to: Counseling Center Director Date: January 2026   Hillcrest Platte County (HPC) is a Christian non-profit serving the working homeless in Platte County, MO. HPC has 35 fully furnished apartments where we house the working homeless and unattached young adults. Our team members are motivated self-starters who excel in a fast-paced environment and become valued members of our team. Our staff has a passion for this ministry to serve the working homeless and insecurely housed with hope, respect and caring. We share a strong work ethic and dedication to leading people to self-sufficiency. HPC is expanding services to our program participants to include mental health counseling.   Position Summary: The licensed QMHP works in a team environment and demonstrates collaboration, a high level of clinical leadership and independent practice. Provides an advanced level of mental health treatment in both individual and group settings. Treatment is provided based upon sound theoretical principles, with knowledge of the special issues and needs of the population served. This position develops treatment strategies to meet the multifaceted needs of a diverse population, including children and young adults and is expected to interface with both internal and external treatment providers. Trauma informed services are required. Our QMHP services will follow a strengths-based model that will help develop and build skills that will help the child and family function autonomously and successfully.   This position will also help in developing this new program expansion of mental health counseling. That will include establishing relationships within the community. Opportunity for growth of this program will include development of a counseling center facility and the appropriate staff to offer a variety of counseling resources.   Essential Job Functions: • Comply with all state, regulatory and HPC requirements for quality participant care, confidentiality and privacy • Provide counseling services and diagnose if psychiatrist involvement is needed • Coordinate additional community services and make appropriate referrals • Create partnerships with other mental health professionals • Develop partnership with a telehealth psychiatrist as needed • Maintain up-to-date, accurate, complete, and well-organized participant records • Provide crisis intervention/support services to participants • Additional duties as required   Competencies 1. Actual work hours will vary depending on the needs of program participants.   Travel Travel up to 10% is expected for this position, all local in the Kansas City Metro area.   Required Education and Experience • Master’s degree or above in counseling, psychology, social work, family therapy or closely related field with experience in trauma informed counseling. • Missouri Licensed as Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) • Driving is a requirement for the employee, he/she must meet the requirements specified in the Fleet Driving Safety and Compliance Policy and must continue to meet these requirements as a condition of employment. • Knowledge of psychiatric terminology and the process of psychiatric diagnosis. • Must demonstrate knowledge of the theory and practice of mental health assessment and treatment and have basic research skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. • Must have organizational and leadership skills. • Must be able to demonstrate good independent judgment, adapt to new duties, and work in a changing environment with individuals from various walks of life. • Comfortable with outreach and building partnerships • Program development experience a plus as this is a new offering • Completion of training as directed through orientation and/or by Leadership, Management or Educators in the established timeline for continued employment.   AAP/EEO Statement Hillcrest Platte County is an equal opportunity employer. House Managers live on campus and serve as a trusted, after-hours point of contact for program participants, helping create a safe, supportive, and Christ-centered environment. In exchange for 15–20 volunteer hours per week, HPC provides a rent- and utility-free two-bedroom apartment. Hours are flexible and can be worked around a full-time day job.

  Key Responsibilities Include:

• Living on-site as a contact person for participants after business hours, on weekends, and during holidays
• Creating, fostering, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment on HPC properties
• Conducting twice-weekly apartment checks and nightly curfew checks
• Assisting with preparing apartments for move-ins, the orientation process, and move-out procedures
• Scheduling and leading weekly community meetings
• Completing other duties as discussed during the initial interview

Receiving Associate: Hillcrest Thrift Shop - Platte City: Pay commensurate with experience. We are adding to our team of Receiving Associates who help us manage donations that are donated toward our mission!   As a Receiving Associate managing donations, you will be integral to our operations, ensuring the handling and processing of incoming materials and getting categorized items to their corresponding departments. Reporting to the Dock Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills and rolling-equipment provided. Helping us requires your ability to bend, lift, stand, push, move, and help volunteers manage distribution of all Misc. types of donations we receive throughout each week. A positive, appreciative attitude while engaging donors and volunteers is required. NO late evenings, NO Sundays. Pre-employment background check required.
